Teddington and Hampton Wick Village Planning Event

LEADERS QUESTION TIME

TEDDINGTON AND HAMPTON WICK VILLAGE PLANNING EVENT

The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital attended this year’s Leaders Question Time and Teddington and Hampton Wick Village Planning Event which was held on Thursday 10th March 2016, at Teddington Baptist Church, 17 Church Road, Teddington, TW11 8PF.

This was a unique opportunity for The League of Friends to tell the local community about our organisation and the services which are available at Teddington Memorial Hospital.

Since 2014, the Council has been developing and refreshing Village Plans, with local people, groups and businesses being able to have the opportunity to have a lead role in this process.

These plans include, visions of how the local area will be developed in the future, with key issues, priorities and opportunities. How the local community can be involved and useful information about how to get things done with the council.

Lord True and members of his cabinet were in attendance to receive questions from the local community.

The League of Friends stall received lots of interest in our current projects and activities at Teddington Memorial Hospital, particularly the Out of Hours GP Service. This enhanced service is available to all patients registered with a GP practice in the Borough of Richmond and is funded by The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital in partnership with the Richmond GP Alliance. The League would like to thank all those who showed their support and for the generous donations received. It is with such support, that the League have be able to continue to enhance the services available at Teddington Memorial Hospital.
