Become a Volunteer

Our volunteers help in the League of Friends shop in the hospital, with fund-raising activities and with raising awareness about the hospital and League at local community events. Volunteers, therefore, play an essential role in enabling the League to maintain its services within the hospital. Interested in becoming a volunteer? Click here

Support from local businesses and organisations

We also invite local businesses and organisations, large and small to support the LOF by sponsoring events, providing volunteers, and promoting the LOF as their chosen charity.

Why support the League of Friends?

Over the last 20 years, the LOF has mounted large successful fundraising appeals and raised over £8m through the generosity of the Teddington community to deliver many improvements to Teddington Memorial Hospital that would not have been possible otherwise.

The NHS provides an appropriate baseline level of funding for Teddington Memorial Hospital, however, the League of Friends offers the opportunity for local people, local organisations, and businesses, large and small, to support and contribute to those additions that make the hospital so special and valuable to our community.

So what are you waiting for? Please get involved!
