The League had a great day at this year’s Teddington Village Fair, there was such a fabulous community feel to the day. Many of the local people turned out and our stall received lots of attention, with particular interest being shown in the GP Out of Hour Service, which we are currently funding in partnership with the Richmond GP Alliance.
We recruited some new supporters and volunteers and are looking forward to them commencing their induction. Many people were very generous with their donations and helped us to raise a total of £140.44. Thank you all for your continued support.
Thanks also go to our fabulous team of volunteers, who gave up their time to help with our stall, your support is invaluable. This Village Fair is what community is all about, getting together and enjoying a beautiful Sunday and supporting the many local organisations that we are so fortunate to have in our borough. There was a wonderful variety of stalls and entertainment, which made it a truly great family day.
We really look forward to attending again next year and meeting more of our valued supporters.
