Hampton Hill Christmas Market at the United Reformed Church on 29th November was a wonderfully festive event. There were many stalls selling a selection of locally made arts, crafts and handmade goodies, face painting, hot food and lots of festive gifts.
The General festivities started from 4pm, with businesses in Hampton Hill staying open. The Christmas Tree Lights were lit and the parade starts at 6.30pm with Santa’s sleigh, music & other activities during the evening until 8.30pm.
The League’s stall had a great response from the local community, with many Christmas gifts being purchase and lots of donations being made, raising a total of £100. Several people also took volunteering and membership leaflets and we look forward to them joining.
This is such a great community event for the League to be involved with and we would like to thank the Church and organisers for inviting us to participate and to our supporters for their continued generosity.
We look forward to meeting more of our supporters next year and enjoying the festivities.
