We are looking to recruit a new Volunteer Bookkeeper who wants to get more involved in their local community.
The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital is a respected local charity offering community support to help our local hospital be its very best.
The role of Volunteer Bookkeeper is to assist our Treasurer Board Trustee with financial record keeping and reporting.
The Volunteer Bookkeeper will receive experience and insight into an independent local charity’s work through.
- Journals, nominal ledgers, and bank
- Processing receipts and payments
- Year-end accounts preparation
This role will suit a person who.
- Has a knowledge of bookkeeping
- Has a willingness to deal with paperwork and filing
- Is numerate and able to understand accounting
- Is computer literate
- Wishes to be more involved in a local charity supporting the community.
The role requires a commitment of a one day a month, working from home, which is flexible with normal working days of Monday to Friday.
Full induction and support to carry out the role will be provided.
