The League’s Newly Refurbished Shop is Open

The League is please to inform our supporters that our newly refurbished shop in the main waiting area of the hospital has opened and will be selling all our usual items, including sandwiches, healthy snacks and drinks, toys, stationery and our beautiful Christmas cards, which are now on sale.

Covid Perspex Screen

The new shop frontage has a long counter with stock visible through a clear Perspex screen fitted from the ceiling to the counter, which will enable safe shopping for our customers. All our volunteers have been provide hand sanitiser to use during their shifts and all have been trained in Health and Safety during Covid19.

Limited Opening Times

Initially our refurbished shop will have limited opening times of Monday to Friday 11am until 2pm, with a view to extending these times in the near future.

Why does The Friends of TMH exist?

The Friends of TMH is an essential part of the community supporting the staff and patients of TMH by enabling and enhancing the quality and quantity of the provision of medical services, facilities, and general improvements above the NHS-funded baseline, ensuring the long-term future of the hospital.

What is the objective of the Friends of TMH?

The objective of The Friends is to create a partnership between Teddington Memorial Hospital, the local NHS, local organisations, and the local community, raising money to ensure continuous funding for enhancement to the provision of equipment and services in both a reactive and proactive way.

What is our vision?

To be widely recognised for helping TMH to be highly respected and loved by the community.

How can you help?

There are many ways you can get involved with the LOF and help to fund vital projects like the paediatric audiology screening room.
