Official Unveiling Ceremony for The League’s Funding of the New Reception Area

The Mayor of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Councillor Nancy Baldwin, attended an officially Unveiling Ceremony to mark The League of Friends funding of the new reception and waiting area at Teddington Memorial Hospital.

Stephen Swords, Chairman of Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust, welcomed Councillor Baldwin and thanked The League for their many years of support to the hospital.

The brass plaque was unveiling by Councillor Baldwin and Life President of The League, Pamela Bryant MBE, who for more than 40 years, has spearheaded many campaigns to raise funds to provide enhancements to both the services and equipment available to patients at our much loved hospital.

All these improvements have been made possible by the generous donations which we receive from our local community, to which we are eternally grateful.

Thank you to Councillor Baldwin for attending the ceremony and showing such an interest in The League’s work, to Pamela Bryant for the many years of dedication and to our wonderful community for your continued support.
