Making a Difference, One Small Comfort at a Time

At the League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital, our mission has always been in making a difference to support patients, staff and visitors by funding projects that make a real and immediate difference to their hospital visit.

Recently, we’ve been proud to contribute two small but meaningful improvements that will help create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for those visiting the hospital.

New Children’s Furniture in the Urgent Treatment Centre

We are delighted to have funded the new children’s furniture in the Urgent Treatment Centre’s paediatric area, creating a more relaxed and welcoming space for young families during what can often be a stressful visit.

It is a great example of how a small investment can make a big difference to patient wellbeing.

Funding Hot Drinks Provision

We are also pleased to have pledged funds for the provision of hot drinks in both the Urgent Treatment Centre and the Woodland Suite Pain Clinic. Having a warm drink while waiting for treatment or visiting a loved one can bring a small but meaningful sense of comfort.

This simple addition will help make the hospital visit a little more pleasant for patients and visitors, a reminder that community support is at the heart of what we do.
