Teddington, along with the whole country, plans to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee long weekend with great enthusiasm.
If you still haven’t decided how to celebrate, here are some excellent ideas for Jubilee events around Teddington and the Richmond Borough area.
Jubilee Picnic in the Park Udney Hall Gardens
On Saturday, 4 June 2022, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the Rotary Club of Teddington & the Hamptons in partnership with RNLI will be hosting a Picnic in the Park for local families.
It will be held at Udney Hall Gardens, Kingston Road/Langham Road, Teddington, TW11 9HQ, and is open to all with no booking required.
There will be live music from local performers and plenty of stalls and activities, including an opportunity to see the RNLI Lifeboat and try out your life-saving skills.
You’re invited to bring family, friends, and a picnic to enjoy this community event for free.
Jubilee Celebration Church Street Twickenham
Celebrate the Platinum Jubilee on Sunday, 5 June 2022, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Church Street, Twickenham, TW1 3NR. There will be al fresco dining, refreshments, a craft fair, live music, and children’s activities.
Hampton Methodist Church Jubilee Event
On Sunday, 5 June 2022, you’re invited for lunch (bring something to share) and activities to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. To be held on Hampton Methodist Church front lawn, Percy Road, Hampton, TW12 2JT.
Hampton Wick Big Jubilee Picnic
On Sunday, 5 June 2022, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, bring your picnic to King’s Field, Church Grove, Hampton Wick, KT1 4ET, or enjoy the BBQ and ice creams at Pistachios in the Park Cafe. Enjoy music from local performers, free inflatables and traditional village games and sports.
Hampton Inspired Hub Royal Celebration
You’re invited to a free Hub Bazaar on Saturday, 4 June, from 1 to 4 pm. Enjoy stalls, activities, entertainment, and excellent free buffet food (contributions much appreciated).
Jubilee Joust Hampton Court Palace
Experience the sport of kings as knights from around the country joust to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey, KT8 9AU from Wednesday, 1 June 2022, to Sunday 5 June 2022 at 11.00, 13.30 and 16.00.
Richmond Dance Al Fresco
