The League was able to meet lots of our supporters at this year’s Twickenham Green Fair and with the weather staying fine, we thoroughly enjoyed the day.
There were various stalls selling an array of items and different organisations providing useful information about local events and volunteer opportunities, as well as live music from local groups and different culinary delights to try.
We were able to inform more of the local community about the current projects which we are funding at the hospital and tell people about our future plans.
The League is extremely grateful for the continued support which we receive and we would not be able to provide all the enhancements to our much loved hospital without it.
We were pleased to gain some new volunteers to join the team and as an added bonus, with the generous donations received on the day and the selling of items donated by our supporters, we raised £72.14 towards our funds.
Thanks to everyone who showed their support and appreciation for our wonderful hospital, we are truly lucky to have such a facility available to us.
We look forward to next year.
