TEDDINGTON RFC’s FESTIVAL OF RUGBY
RAISED AN AMAZING £673.05
FOR THE LEAGUE OF FRIENDS OF TEDDINGTON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital’s Chairman Pamela Bryant MBE and Office and Projects Manager Adele Cowell gratefully received a cheque for £673.05, from Teddington RFC’s Club Chairman Gareth Cross.
Teddington RFC held a Festival of Rugby and Club Open Day, on 13th September 2015, at their ground in Bushy Park.
The day was a huge family event with lots of activities, including rugby demonstrations, a touch rugby tournament, bouncy castle, face painting, pony rides, a raffle held on behalf of The League of Friends and lot of stalls selling everything from rugby shirts to cupcakes.
The League of Friends were invited to have an information stall, where we received lots of interest in our current projects and the many services which are available at Teddington Memorial Hospital.
The afternoon continued with a BBQ and hog roast, followed by live music in the evening at the club house.
It is through fundraising efforts such as this and many generous donations that The League of Friends has been able to continue to support Teddington Memorial Hospital and help enhance the services which are available to the local community.
A HUGE “Thank You”, to all the staff and members at Teddington RFC, for the wonderful donation and such a great day.
We truly appreciate your continued support.
