Our Volunteers at Christmas time 2022

We thank our lovely volunteers at Christmas time 2022 and our many supporters and members.

Teddington Christmas Festival

We want to say a big thank you to our volunteers, David, Peter and Steve, who braved the wind, wet and cold to volunteer on our stand at the Teddington Christmas Festival. We did a roaring trade in knitted toys and Christmas cards, so thank you to everyone who visited the stall, made a purchase or donated; much appreciated. We couldn’t have done it without the kind offer of a stall place from Teddington Methodist Church; many thanks to Sue for organising and helping us to set up, along with Sue’s husband, who ensured our gazebo didn’t get blown away!

Hampton Hill Christmas Parade Market

Another big thank you to Hampton Hill United Reformed Church for offering a stall place at the indoor market; thank you, Elaine and Rachel. We want to thank the volunteers, Teresa, Jenny, Susan and Steve, for volunteering at the stall; much appreciated. Steve, we hope you didn’t miss too much of the football while closing up and helping to lug the stuff into the car!

Hospital Shop

Hospital Shop 2022 Friends of TMHThe hospital shop is an important part of our Christmas fundraising. We sell Christmas cards, hats, toys, other Christmas goodies, and stocking fillers, including our cute Chocolate Orange hats. Make sure you pop along to the shop when you’re out shopping in Teddington. A huge thank you to our volunteers who make the shop operation possible; you are very much appreciated.

Volunteers invited to Christmas Carols at TMH on 14th December

HRCH has extended their invitation to our volunteers and welcomes you all to an afternoon of Christmas Carols around Teddington Memorial Hospital. This will be led by the Chaplaincy Volunteers.

For any volunteers interested in popping on a Santa hat and bringing some festive cheer to patients and staff, meet at 14.30 for a quick rehearsal and then to the Urgent Treatment Centre finishing in the day room on the Pamela Bryant Ward. Mince pies and refreshments will likely be on hand at some point, the finer details yet to be organised.

We’d like to thank all our Volunteers at Christmas time 2022 for all the hard work you have put in this year – you are much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you in 2023.

Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering for the Friends of TMH.
