This Year’s Remembrance Sunday Service at Teddington Memorial Hospital, led by the Reverend Joe Moffatt, Vicar of St Mary with St Alban, was a very moving tribute to those who fought in the two world wars and other conflicts, especially those that made the ultimate sacrifice. This year marks the Centenary year of the battle of the Somme and it was therefore particularly poignant to observe during the service, the sole soldier in authentic First World War battledress standing silently to attention next to the memorial.
The service was very well attended by the local community, with Pamela Bryant MBE laying a wreath on behalf of The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital, alongside other representatives from organisations and members of the public.
