The Official Unveiling of Teddington Memorial Hospital’s New Historical Timeline.

The official unveiling of Teddington Memorial Hospital’s new timeline recently took place with Richmond upon Thames Mayor Cllr Lisa Blakemore, kindly cutting the ribbon to mark this memorable occasion. Also in attendance representing the League was Chairman Pamela Bryant MBE and on behalf of HRCH NHS Trust Chairman Stephen Swords.

This fascinating historical timeline is now on display in the corridors of Teddington Memorial Hospital, as a permanent reminder of the history of the hospital and the many achievements of The League of Friends.

The League of Friends in partnership with Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust and the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, have created this wonderful timeline which marks memorable dates and highlights the many changes and additions the hospital has undergone. Detailing some of the major milestones from 1874 until the present day.

This graphical representation really reinforces the true sense of the word community and without the continued support of ours, Teddington Memorial Hospital would not be here today, providing the much needed essential health services.

The League of Friends has a proud history of supporting the hospital and ensuring that it continues to be at the heart of the local community.
