The Richmond May Fair was held on Saturday, 9th May 2015 and represented the Fair’s 45th consecutive year. It also marked the 50th anniversary of the founding of the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames.
All the usual attractions were present and the May Fair Dog Show made a welcome return. Events took place on Richmond Green and in the Church of St. Mary Magadelene, Paradise Road, Richmond.
League of Friends Activities at the Fair
The League had a stall on the Green to sell bric a brac and provide information about the League’s activities in support of Teddington Memorial Hospital. Considerable interest was shown in the Richmond GP Out of Hours Service, while a number of people offered to support the League either by becominng volunteers or producing items to be sold in the League’s shop or at other events. Bric a brac sales and donations raised £58 for the League’s funds.
