PART-TIME ADMINISTRATOR (12 hours per week) – POST NOW CLOSED

We are looking for a part-time Administrator based in our office at Teddington Memorial Hospital to work 12 hours per week.

About Us

The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital is a well-respected local charity which has raised over £8 million to support our local hospital. We are committed to enhancing the services for patients, visitors and staff at the Hospital and within the local community. We also fundraise for additional equipment and improved facilities including the recent purchase of new X-ray machine and refurbishment of the entrance and waiting area in the Hospital.

About the Role

The Administrator provides support to the League including assisting the Chairman and Trustees to respond to correspondence and ensuring the smooth running of the League’s office. The Administrator is also responsible for organising fundraising collections in the community and managing volunteer collectors. Working as a team with our Shop Manager and Projects and Events Manager, the Administrator will be part of an exciting future as the League develops new projects to improve our hospital and help its patients.

About You

Self-motivated, you will have excellent administration skills and enjoy working in a team environment. The role requires a good standard of education, secretarial skills, numeracy, minute-taking ability and IT skills including Microsoft Office. You will be an effective communicator who is able to lead and motivate volunteers. Previous experience volunteering or working for a charity is desirable but not essential.

Salary: £12.00 per hour with occasional paid overtime
