The Hospital Chapel

ChapelThe Hospital Chapel For All Faiths was funded by the League at a cost of £195,000 and was completed in 1998.

The Service of Blessing was conducted by the Bishop of Kensington, The Rt. Revd. Michael Colclough was attended by many religious leaders and some 200 supporters. The latter consisted of members of the community, donors, and representatives of groups and organisations. A plaque was unveiled by Trust Chairman, Maggi Lyne, to mark the official opening.

A year later, in 1999, the League decided to commemorate the year 2000 and launched an appeal for specific donations to provide a stained glass window in the Hospital Chapel. The design depicts many local scenes and embraces a theme of caring.
