The League had a fantastic evening with the Rotary Club of Teddington and the Hamptons’ Santa Sleigh. We had nine wonderful volunteers who gave up their time and braved the cold to travel on a Christmas journey around the streets of Teddington, collecting donations door to door from our supportive community.
So many children came out to see Santa being pulled on his sleigh and to wave and shake hands with him, it was truly magical.
Thank you to all our local residents for showing such support for our local hospital by giving your generous donations. You are truly making a difference to the type of services and equipment that we are able to fund at the hospital.
We are also extremely grateful to the Rotary Club of Teddington and the Hamptons for choosing to support The League this year and to our volunteers who did a fabulous job of collecting and encouraging new support.
The total raised from the evening’s collection was an amazing £338.36, which will be used towards our future projects.
