The new state of the art robotic X-ray machine which the League of Friends has funded, was unveiled by Sir Vince Cable in the recent celebration to officially declare the new facility open. Our Chair of Trustees Pamela Bryant MBE, was also in attendance along with the Trusts Chairman, Stephen Swords.
The new machine has a flexible arm which moves around the patient, avoiding the need for them to be moved and enabling them to be more comfortable and the procedure to be quicker.
Sir Vince Cable was delighted to attend the opening of this facility. Saying ““I was very pleased to be invited to open this excellent new facility. A huge thank you and praise should go to The League of Friends, whose tireless work means that the hospital can continue to provide the very best care”.
